Republicans Want Health Care Reform
The Senate is not in session. Republicans are continuing to fight against Democratic health care reform proposals, which would cut your Medicare, raise your taxes, and threaten your health care choices. We believe that any health care reform legislation should lower costs and expand access without raising your taxes or adding billions of dollars to the deficit.

First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit
The $8,000 first-time homebuyer tax credit offered by the Federal government is expiring soon. To take advantage of the tax credit, homebuyers must complete a first-time home purchase before December 1, 2009. For more information on the first-time homebuyer tax credit and how to apply, visit the Internal Revenue Services Web site at: www.irs.gov.
